Citius, Altius, Fortius
Designed for the International Olympic committee in 1912 and debuted at the 1920 Antwerp Olympics, the five Olympic rings (above) represent the five parts of the world involved in the games. While the rings are considered canon, each Olympic game tends to have its own unique Olympic emblem which is created by the instances host country. As everyone knows, this year it's in Britain and boy if they haven't given us a logo to think about...
