The College offers a diverse range of courses for Post Leaving Certificate and Mature Students. All courses are of one or two years duration and have strong links with industry and the professions.
Students who successfully complete their studies at the College gain the necessary qualifications to enter their chosen career or to continue their studies at third level.
Higher Education Links
Students who successful complete FETAC Level 2 Awards may advance to certificate and diploma level courses at Institutes of Technology. For further clarification, check with the appropriate course co-ordinator at time of interview.
There are no tuition fees, however, there are costs attached to all courses; for example, registration fees, examination fees, and a student services charge. Students will be advised at interview about the specific costs attached to their chosen course.

Students can avail of professional guidance and advice from the Guidance Counsellor. Individual appointments may be made and students are guaranteed confidentiality. Course co-ordinators also organise career talks and advise on interview techniques and job preparation.
Job Placement Service
Sallynoggin College of Further Education offers both students and employers a free placement service. Employers telephone the College when they have staff vacancies and the co-ordinator of the course involved informs the students and makes the initial arrangements for students to send on their CVs. Jobs are also posted on the relevant course notice boards.The college has established excellent links with employers and is committed to furthering these links in the future.
Student Representative Council (SRC)
A Student Representative Council (SRC) is elected by each class group. This Council meets once a week to discuss issues common to all students. Representation is made to school management when issues or problems need to be addressed. This group is also responsible for organising various social activities for all students throughout the year.
Students attending this College at present have an opportunity to participate on the Mens and Ladies Soccer Teams, Mens and Ladies Basketball Teams and/or Rugby Teams which compete in the Inter Collegiate leagues.
The College canteen provides snacks, sandwiches and refreshments throughout the day.There are also tea, coffee, water and soft drink dispensers located around the college.
