This room is on the top floor of a stunning, large, rambling old house surrounded by sixty acres of gorgeous land in the Meath countryside, just 45 mins drive from Dublin. It is shabby chic in style. It has a shared (with one other) shower/bathroom and kitchenette also on the top floor. We can offer flexible, but long-term lodging here in exchange for a very reasonable rent.

This would suit someone with a permanent home elsewhere, who is looking for a very peaceful, private place to retreat to, with access to a superb natural environment -on a casual basis – a few days a week/or weeks during the month. Alternatively, it might suit a student for lodgings on a five day basis, during term-time.

Occasionally (mostly Spring and summer), the house is full - we rent out for alternative events, and family weekends, when your room would be required. Most of the time, it would be all yours.

There is one other full time tenant on the top floor, (who also moves out for events) and two further full-time, self-contained tenants in other parts of the house.

The right person/couple might be looking for peace, inspiration and space to complete a project, or simply retreat from the city. They might also fancy alternative rural living - we have an organic orchard, vegetable gardens, a river – and numerous eco projects (like our bumblebee reserve) going along.
